CEER is Saudi Arabia's first car brand. On 21 September 2026 it unveiled its first two cars, the EXOBOT sedan and SUV, at the CEER Manufacturing Complex in King Abdullah Economic City.
Front and rear, both cars carry the same signature: thirty-two bars of light, for 1932, the year the Kingdom was unified.
We designed how they move.
The design team at CEER drew the cars and the signature, thirty-two bars and the story they carry.
We were asked to give the signature behaviour: how it wakes as you approach, acknowledges a lock, settles while charging, hands over to the indicators without breaking character, and how all of it reads as one language across a sedan and an SUV with very different bodies.
Designing the animation is the visible half. The other half is getting it into the car without losing it on the way.
We architected the path from the design tool to the lighting hardware, so that the sequence approved on a screen is the sequence every customer sees on the road, on every unit, for the life of the car.
Moving from installation work into a vehicle programme means a different standard: light that behaves identically on every unit, survives years of road use, and runs on constrained hardware with nobody there to restart it.
